 이곡은 그리이스 출신의 3인조 남성밴드인아폴로디테스 챠일드의 1970년 작품이며, 이밴드는 1968년 부터 1972년 까지 활동했었다. 아폴로디테는 그리스 신화에 등장하는 사랑과 미의 여신이다. 키보드로 유명한 반젤리스( Vangelis)와 기타리스트 데미스 루소스 (Demis Roussos ; 이집트 태생), 드럼의 루카스 시드라스(Lucas Sideras)가 활동했던 밴드이며, 'Rain and Tears' 의 성공과 더불어 "End of the World" (데뷔 싱글과 앨범 타이틀 곡), "It's Five O'Clock"(두 번째 앨범 타이틀곡),
"Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall' 그리고 그외에 'I Want to Live', 'Marie Jolie' 등의 히트곡을 연달아 내었었다..**
